We have a cs1000, release 5, and are trying to setup inbound cli on non acd phones.

Our phones that are ACD, aquired by symposim will display the inbound cli, so we know we are getting the data in, but if we dial a DDi, and run a trac in ld 80 on the tn while the call is in progress, there is no clid showing.

you don't really setup inbound CLID, it either comes in from the C.O. or it doesn't. Are you saying it is on AD sets, but on no other sets with a display??

I suspect the call to the ACD is coming in a different route than the DDI calls? Is that possible?

sorry for delay. yes i understand this is correct. is there a setting on the route or something else on the switch, or is this the carrier not sending CLI down certain circuits?

I would think not sending it, turn on MSGI in ld 96 on the Dch of the incoming T-s and see what you are getting in.

hi, im not too sure how to do that? what are the commands i need to run to enable this?

I have done a bit more testing:

We have a few different routes, and my DDi is in route 10.

If make a change to our IDC table, and put my dn by one of the DDi's i know carries the CLI, this is displayed on my phone.

The route these ddi's are in is route 4. There are another few routes, route 11 and route 12 which also show the inbound cli.

Here is a dump of route 10 (which doesnt display the cli)

can you go into Ld 22 and do a:

REQ prt
TYPE adan

do you see the D channels in there?

I would have to guess that your password does not have high enough clearance for the loads you are trying to use. You will have to get with your vendor to get the higher level password, or yours changed. But be very careful, you can do a lot of damage in these loads if you do not know what you are doing.

ah, Ok, makes sense to be honest.

If i go back to my vendor, are we suspecting that there is a d channel issue which is preventing the inbound cli?

thanks again

only thing listed in ld22 when printing adan is the TTY ports

to everyone telling him/her to post the dch, look at the rdb again, it's not PRI - there's no DCH

i was pretty sure they were PRI.

The cards are DDP2, and the loops written on them have a dch number on them also?!!

just because it's on a ddp card does not mean it's PRI. The DDP card is multipurpose.

as for why you're not getting clid, still trying to figure that out base on the info provided so far...

it could be the numbers are not clid, but dnis, and the acd phones are configure to display dnis - simple enough to verify, check the phone display configure within the symposium client

the other thing i hve noticed, is that once circuit is in 2 routes. 20 channels are used in route 4 (where the CLI displays) and the last 10 channels are in route 10, sos am assuming from this that the d channel on that interface must be correct (or am i totally in the wrokg ball park!?!)
