I currently have an INDeX where I group inbound calls to 5 BRI extensions on rotation. I now need to achive this on the IP Office but cannot see how.

1st remember that INDeX trates SO as useres & IPO treats them at lines, as a long tiem INDeX user this seemed strange at first but actualy works better (I used to work for SDX when the INDeX was launched)!
to send a call to the So ou need to creat a short code that will dial out on the So line.

example:
Short code :- 1234 (anything will do)
telephoen number . (alwasy use . you will seee why shortly)
line groupe id <outgoing line groupe for SO channel(s)>
Feature Dial

Set the Outgoing line group ID the Same for all the So channels you wish to bond.

for your incomming call route tyep the short code as teh destination & the call will be presented to the So chnnels with the DDI Diggets & CLI recived form the network. wiled cards can be used in the incomming call route to forward a whole range if necessary (for fax servers etc.)

Icomming call route example

Line Group ID:0
Incomming Number -0123456789 (-match from left to right instead of right to left a norma)
Destination 1234

this will send calls in the range 01234 56789XX to the So ports & forward the ddi digits
