Our setup:
3 sites: NY, DE, FL
NY Site has moved.
PRI's cutover
3300 mxe shutdown, moved, etc

everything was cutover and turned up. internal dialing among all the offices operational. Our problem: inbound calls on the PRI fail. we can see the calls hitting the pbx thru ccs trace:

what could be our problem? carrier says they are receiving the error number not available. I am sure I am missing an easy setting, but from what i can tell, our CPN substitution is correct, extensions programmed, etc.

any insight would help. thanks guys!

In your trunk attributes form, how many digits are you absorbing?

Are you inserting any digits?

You appear to be receiving 10 digits. If you have a 4 digit internal plan you probably need to absorb 6 digits.

If you are using Speedcalls to do digit translation, how many digits are you using.

problem solved.... somehow our digit absorption was changed from absorbing 6 to 0.

Does anyone know how this could have happened?

Telcos will send all the digits by default unless you specify a number.

Share what you know - Learn what you don't

Don't know of anyway it would have changed on its own.

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.

It will not change on its own.

The Telco may have been sending 4 digits originally and then changed it for reasons unknown or someone changed the form by mistake - you pick.
