Hello,

We recently installed a TDE600 system. So far so good (man, I have a lot to learn)!

One question I have is all inbound calls have a "11" before the area code and phone number on the caller ID display. Is that something I can fix in the switch? I called my PRI vendor and they said it is not their problem.

Thanks!

You can strip one 1 easy enough go to 3.1.3 in UMPC .I am confused are you a dealer or the end user ? Who provides your PRI?

Thanks, CWC3.

Oh, I am the end user. Our PRI is provided by our local CLEC.

If you had a t-berd tester or rented one you could prove the extra 1 is coming from them if it really bothered you !

You might also need to go to 1-1 in UMPC. Put curser on top of the PRI card, and select Card Property. Under Network Numbering plan, Calling party Number- Numbering plan ID. Change the default setting to National, National, ISDN telephony, ISDN telephony.
