I have an Avaya CM 5.2.1 that receives calls over H323 trunk. When an inbound call is ringing into CM, I see the caller ID name but no caller ID number. Provider is definitely sending Caller ID, because when I setup the trunk on an IP office I get caller ID name and number.
Also, from my observation, when tracing the caller ID in IP office, I see the caller ID as +1xxxxxxxxxx@xxx.xxx.xxx. I'm not sure if this is a problem...
