I have an 1140e installed as my reception phone. Reception routes inbound calls to inside destinations (DN's) by simply using the transfer function. The problem is if she doesn't release the call quickly enough the caller I.D. shows "Reception" and not that of the inbound caller. This is a big problem for end users as they think Reception is calling and when it's actually someone being transferred from outside. This causes particulary difficulty for our internal members to answer or screen calls appropriately. Can anyone suggest a better way to set up an 1140 to route calls in a way that resolves this issue?
Appreciate the help.
