I have a setup that a main line number 6 digits are speed called to a ring group. However the problem with this is that it doesn't show the incoming number.

If I change the speed call to go direct to an extension DN, the calling parties numeber is shown on the set. I'm starting to loose faith in Ring Groups as this is the second problem I've found, this first not being able to re-route for the perpose of night voicemail.

that's the way ring groups are designed. Same as ACD, so you know which groups you're answering a call for.

The CLI is displayed when you answer.

Also, on the larger display sets, 5330 and 5340 you get both group and CLI. On the 5224 / 5324 you get a toggle button to toggle between the two.

I know what you mean about the re-route but the rest the Ring group working is actually very good i think, has got me out of holes on many an occasion.

All info and conditions on Ring groups is in the system Help
