Looking for a way to pull out of the sysstem information on the calling number and a timestamp of when the call was for calls over the past several months.
Running Symposium call center server ver 4.2 on Nortel meridian 61 c.
Any detailed suggestions on how to pull that out into a flat file or csv would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks you,
wyles

The information you want is in the Call-by-Call Details but you are going to need to use some form of SQL Querying, or other ODBC process, in order to make any usefulness out of the information.

Although the Call-by-Call Report is provided as a standard report its never been anything more useful than troubleshooting alarm/error codes for me.

This is really a feature of CDR or call accounting on the PBX rather than Symposium. Call By Call reports are usually only kept for 7 days as it requires a lot of space to keep all those statistics.

Anybody know how one would go about setting up Setting up CDR stats? At this point I know nothing but I am looking.
Thanks,
Wyles

CDR is not a part of the Symposium report. CDR is another PBX function and requires another software program (usually OTM) to capture the data and produce reports. The information contained in call accounting reports is the time of the call, date of the call, length of call, route and member call came in on or went out on, if you have PRI, the CLID on an incoming call, digits dialed on an outbound call.

We use a product called Avotus to pull CDR info off the switch and use it to bill back to the various business units. It takes feeds (in our company) from both Meridian and Cisco Call Manager.

We also use it for other billing operations (call centre functionality, call recording etc.). It's been a big success
