I have some servers on which several application are installed. I came to know that some of the applications are not being accessed or used. Is there a way to find out all those applications that are inactive and are just sitting there.

Do these apps have log files? It would be helpful to know what the apps are or at least what they are based on. Oracle, for example, has a number of methods of determining how it is being used.

I want to be good, is that not enough?

I have different environments running in each server and some applications are duplicates and are installed in all environments and I am trying to figure out which application is being used and from which environment.
