I have some servers on which several application are installed. I came to know that some of the applications are not being accessed or used. Is there a way to find out all those applications that are inactive and are just sitting there.

I myself may write some logs on files or write some some logs in database when user login, browse record or search records.

you may write the user name, the timestamp for user access...

If we're talking about J2EE applications, some application servers write an access.log file with all request.

Cheers,
Dian
