As too many very old part numbers in our mysis system might cause poor perfermance, Last night I deactivated 8000 out of 22000 part numbers in the item module through accpac importing function, and those numbers may be currently used in the BOM at different level. It looks like system run OK.
I knew that if you try to include a deactive part into a BOM, the system will warn you the status.
Once I have done deactivation, I did a integrity check and found a lot of errors regarding parts that I deactivated in BOM header, Bom Detail and Manufacture Order Header. I am not sure if this is normal or going to be a problem that I have to roll back the deactivation.

Any idea of this issue.

Thanks

Hi tuba,

Thanks

So the errors are not harmful.

Nope, consider them an annoyance. I tell my clients there are "soft" errors and "hard" errors, and these are definitely soft.
