I made a major error today. I set up my admin to be restricted to one consol. Unfortunately, I typed in the wroing tcp/ip address: for the server, not the client. This is for a graduate netware class. Please help me get the admin back otherwise we will have to reinstall...
Thanks

Here's a last chance help out. If you find that you have to reinstall the OS, what I recommend you do is just remove NDS from the server. Reinstall NDS and reset the new ADMIN password. The only thing you would lose would be rights to the Novell volume in which you could regrant them.

Do not remove the volume or delete it as this would destroy all the day residing on it.

The only other thing you would need to do as part of the reinstall of NDS is recreate user accounts etc. assuming this is what you meant by reinstalling the operating system.

Could you connect the server and one workstation together with a mini-hub. Change the IP address of the server and workstation to allow you in long enough to reset it correctly. Then put everything back on your main network.
