INA Module

How do you access the console port on the INA 100R module?
I've been trying to do a hyperterminal using the settings stated on the manual but no luck.
I've been trying 3 INA modules but could not get to the admin prompt.
i'm pretty sure the 8 pin cable and adapters are the right ones because this works when I do hyperterminal on a Partner messaging module.
what am i missing?

What is the default IP address for the INA Module? anyone?

I think you can connect a 8 pin cord from the admin port off of the magix to the pass-thru, or serial port on the INA board. Log into the Magix via dial-up....*10.....and then use Pass-thru off of the main menu. Again, I think......Good luck

The Pass-thru that Jinx describes should work. The INA comes with a special cord that goes from DB-9 to RJ-45, that you plug into your serial on the laptop. There are Programs that are useful, INA Wizard, Portmaster. You can also connect through a crossovet to the ether0 port.
