I'm programming a PRI in a magix with an INA module. Do I need to program the INA module?

Are you just setting it up as a PRI? If so then no, just program as a PRI. If you are using the internal router or internet acces portion then yes you will need the INA software to program that portion

What I really want to know is do I have use the CSU in the INA card if I have no other CSU. In which case I would just activate it? Or can I just not use a CSU?

Well, that usually depends on whether or not (A) your provider requires you to provide one -OR- (B) if your T1 is being "created" close to the MAGIX.

My recent experience with these "new kids on the blok" like C-Beyond and others is that they bring the T1 out of their NETWORK INTERFACE in the same room as the Telephone System, so all you have to do is just connect it up.

NO CSU REQUIRED.

But that is not always the case.

Actually, I have never used one.

I kinda' went from regular T1 Modules to the DSU/CSU, and really didn't have much luck with them either.

The one time I tried to implement them, there was an issue with the DATA between the sites.

Guys I appreciate your response to this. I will be installing the system tomorrow & I'll let you know how I make out. Thanks again.

Well, I will be stuck to my DESK tomorrow, so if you get STUCK, let us know.
