What we can not do is get from any machine on either site

You need to program in the default gateway a static route pointing 192.168.111/24's to go to 10.0.0.2 and vice versa. Hope that clears it up for you. If you need more help, feel free to ask.

For site A, program a static route of 192.168.111/24 to go to 10.0.0.2 in your default gateway router and in site B program a static route of 192.168.0/24 to go to 10.0.0.1 in the default gateway router. Hope that clears things up.
