In Visual basic send email in html format using lotus email 3

Can we send email in HTML format in lotus notes email system ?

I am able to send email in plain text format using lotus notes in visual basic. But I want to send a link in a mail clicking on which user is able to get their appropriate web page.

We can send email in text as well as html format using persist software's email agent. Is there any way in lotus notes to do same.

I have a similar problem...

I have a few Access apps that send emails through Lotus Notes, and it works fine for plain text, but there is no way to create "Hotspots" that show up as clickable links.

In another thread I was reading about the ability to "import" an HTML file into a new Lotus Email message manually. If I create the links as HTML and "import" that file into a new Lotus Email (inside the Notes UI), the links do work.

Perhaps someone would know how to perform this File> import > HTML from VBA?

What I would like to do is ammend my code to accept a filepath to import as HTML, then send out the resulting email.

Any ideas?
