To All,

I have a network printer, which as you all know by now, I can not get to work. My main printer on the system is connected to the parallel port on the Unix box, and it is set up and known as /dev/lp.

Can I set this network printer up as a device as well (/dev/??????), and will this help?

Joe

What type of printer is it?

You shouldn't need to make it a device. Have you tried simply adding it as a remote printer using scoadmin printer?
