In Outlook, can you turn off the ability to 'Mark as Read'?

I am wondering if there is a way to take the 'Mark As Read' choice off of the right-click menu in Outlook. You know where I mean? When you are viewing the Inbox, you right-click on a message and you can select 'Mark As Read' or 'Mark as Unread'.


I have several different versions of Outlook here (2000,2003,2007) and would like to do this on any/all.

Also, Can you tell if someone as used the Mark as Unread function on a message?

Yes. In Outlook 2007, the setting is in tools, Options, Other tab, select Reading Pane Options and clear the check boxes.

The setting in earlier version (IIRC) are under Tools, Options, Preferences tab, Email Options button.
