In outlook 2003 booking resources are declined.

Hi Guys,

I posted this in the office forum but i wasnt sure it was the best place to put it so i put it here as well.

I am trying to send a meeting request, by adding one of the meeting rooms as a resource.

I received error message: ("....." has declined your meeting because it is recurring. You must book each meeting separately with this resource).



I have double checked that i didn't set the meeting request to be

reoccurring. What can be the course of this error message?

I have tried turning off the setting "automatically decline recurring meeting requests" in the resource calendar.

Additional - just to update you guys, it appears that even though i get the error message, the meeting still appears in the boardroom calendar. If i send it again, the same error message is thrown and another meeting is created in the boardroom calendar... This is weird, any ideas?

One of our users is having the exact same problem, and I can't figure out for the life of me why. Did you ever get this figured out? Thanks! Paul

Follow the meeting room FAQ from start to finish and see if that fixes the problem.
