In-Office Wireless VPN Connection Issue

Hello everyone,
I have what feels to be an incredibly simple problem. I just started working in an office building and they asked me to setup wireless internet for them. I went out and bought two linksys E2000 wireless routers and placed them at opposite sides of the building for great coverage and the internet worked beautifully on them. However, no one can connect to their VPN (which is already in place) wirelessly. After some research, I've found that I need a VPN wireless router. However, I can't find one with decent reviews (most reviews say they're all highly unreliable) that warrants me buying it and replacing these original E2000 routers (no VPN tunneling support).

The routers are not plugged directly into the modem, but into ethernet jacks that are wired throughout the building. Employees can connect to VPN from their networks at home just fine.

I'm fairly new at this sort of thing and it feels like it is a really simple problem that I'm having trouble resolving. Can anyone recommend a VPN router just for being able to just connect to an existing VPN wirelessly in the office.

so you want to connect to your vpn while already inside of the network where the vpn terminates??

the network drives don't show up when using the E2000 routers. Right now it provides internet only. I didn't want to bother replacing the original router switch that handles all the distribution of ethernet to the entire building, because that could potentially cause major problems.

I pretty much want to simulate connecting to a VPN from home (where we've seen no problems, VPN connects through home router->ISP->VPN), but I want that in the office. I talked to support at Linksys, and they told me I needed a 'router to router" VPN tunneling unit. They told me a business series router would do the job, but I looked at the reviews, and out of 6 reviews, only 1 said it worked OK. All the rest were horrible, which I can understand because these sorts of things can get quite complicating.

Does this make any sense?

I should also mention that when accessing VPN in the office with Ethernet cord plugged into a laptop, the VPN connection works. My aim is to get this to work wirelessly as well. Thank you unclerico for your interest!
