Hello Team,

Recently I configure 2 discounts that works for happy hour automatically, the issue i am having is that both does not work in conjunction.
for instance: if I bring a liquor order it automatically apply 50% off but if on the same order I bring a food item then it will apply the 25% for but will remove the 50% previously apply for the liquor. the same way happens if I bring in first the food then the liquor.
is there something I am missing?

Check your discount settings. Discounts, Discount, Restrictions. Check the settings for one discount per cheque etc. etc.
Also i have seen issues in the past with multiple auto discounts not working. Do they work if you apply them manually?

it works if apply only to food or liqueur but not in conjunction, the issue is when both food and liqueur are on the same check

Had the same issue and had to create a work around, so since it works when there is both food and Bev , I created dummy food and bev and gave a price of zero so when I an Item is punched without food I include the dummy food etc... problems is to explain to the client what the dummy food or bev is.

I hope you get what am saying and hope it helps

hey Jackba,

thank you for your post,
sorry I do not understand "dummy food and bev

Hi what I mean is you can create to items like normal with department food and the other Bev and give them zero price.
so when you get an order for example with food and it does not have beverage in it you just add your bev with zero price to it and the same goes for orders with only Beverage in it you will just add your zero priced food to the order then the discounts should work.

remember this is just a workaround to get the discounts behaving and it might force you to explain to the guest why the food or bev item is on there bill.

Thank you Jackba,
I personally love workaround, however, explaining the end user this process will confuse them more. what i did was having them apply the missing discount at the end when they are closing the check. I would really love to fix it without the workaround and see what the problem is.

thank you
