I am overseeing the networking/voice & data installation for a new building that is being constructed for my company. I have a communications company that has pulled all our cat5e and will be setting up our phones, inter & intranet.
The company is very professional and I have confidence in their work but I am stuck on something here.

The cat5e is plenum grade but not shielded and in a lot of areas runs parallel within inches for long distances and is actually zip tied to the electrical BX. Granted BX is twisted and has a little less EMI than romex but is this a concern? I’m worried about degraded signal for data and voice.

I mention my concerns to the vendor which told me don’t worry it’s not an issue because it BX.

Speedy feedback will be greatly appreciated as the walls will be getting closed up in a few days.
thank you.
