I have records with Nurse Station and Accommodation. I am trying to count the number of records with each accommodation within the Nurse station. I'm having trouble figuring out which command to use and the context for the command.

Grateful for any help.

You could insert a group #1 on Nurse Station and a group #2 on Accommodation. Then insert a count on any recurring (non-null) field at both group levels.

You could alternatively insert a crosstab in the report header or footer using these two fields as rows and using a count on an ID field as the summary field.
