Can anyone tell me if it is possible to block individual phone numbers from coming in? I have an end user who is receivng harrasing phone calls from a person that they know. I have contacted the carrier and they said that are unable to do it on their end. Any suggestions?

If you have Symposium products, you can write a script to block this call, but it means running all calls through the script for this extension. If the caller changes phones, you will have to rewrite the script to monitor for that number.
It is unusual that the telco cannot block the number, usually for a fee they will do that, but it is a monthly fee, not typically a one time cost. Then if they change numbers to call in you have to block that number too at an added cost.
Without threatening, and possibly having to follow though with legal action, you may not have a good solution here, unless you are willing to spend the money.

You can go through all of this, and the caller will just start blocking Caller ID.

As trvlr1 says, if someone is being harassed, technology is not the solution, since it will never end. Just have them call the police.

Change the users dn. If they get calls after that then it's their own fault.

You can use IDC (LD 49). By this, you can retain the original extension number if needed, and then send the incoming call elsewhere.... maybe a switchboard for screening. Not ideal, but could work.
