In a Aspect Script, can you "Find" in Excel and then use the info from that Row?

The benefit is, that inside a dialog box, I would get asked for the "DN" and then a search would be done (Maybe only search the "DN" column?) after the "DN" is found, the data would be "gotten" through the normal way with the Dll stuff.

Is this possible? Is this a dream?

Thanks,

I'm not sure there's a direct way to do a search via DDE, but you could write a script that can use the sendkey/sendkeystr/sendvkey commands to manually drive Excel to bring up the Find dialog, search for the string, and close it, leaving you on the necessary row. That would be the brute force way to do it, at least.
