I actually have a couple phones in our different facilities that can not hear pages. Since I just took over this mess I'm not sure if they were added phones not programmed for this feature yet, or existing ext's that lost this capability. They're all Dterm Series E (8, 16, 0r 32 button) phones on NEAX 2000IVS. Keep in mind that I'm new, and learning from you guys. I do remember NEC saying something when installing years ago about Paging zones limitations and needing open memory spaces for each Ext. you add this capability to. How do I check this, or better yet, how do I set this up on these phones? I really do appreciate all your help gentlemen, thank you again.

Command 53 (Paging group)

Syntax is ST + 56YY + DE + Serial No + DE + Station Number + EXE

... Where
YY is the paging group, Serial number is an unused number between 00 and 15, and the station number.

(Chapter 3, page 92, r2 of the system manual)

There are 8 total Internal Paging zones (00-07). Only 0-5 are included in the "all" in All Zone. Each group can have a max of 16 Dterm stations (S/N's 00 to 15) in any given group number.

Thanks again gentlemen for all your assistance, it worked! With all your help I was able to give seven people in three different buildings the capability to hear pages. They thank you and I certainly thank you... a lot!
