How do i add a answer DN to a phone.. Under what menus thanks

found it, Ok now in this software I need to add line 126(6874) to key 14 of ext 6852. Thanks

Assign the line under Line access, same section as Answer DN.
You can then move the line to button 17 via F*81 from the set or from Preferences,buttons in programming.

I changed 6874 (126) to A/R on 6852 under line assignment and I believe she said it came in on her intercom key. should it not have rang on the next available key or she could be not sure. and where is preferences in this software ,thanks

what type of phone is that?
if it is a 7310, then you cannot program a line appr and ring on button 14

if it is a 7324, then the btn14 should get the calls ...
what does feature*0 and button 14 display on the screen

I was thinking it was a T series set.

Its a 7310, yea 14 is wrong, I can only add it to the bottom 10. Had user do F*0 and the key (7) she wants it on says "answer Harold" which did work and now doesn't ring at all, and its programmed in the switch as an answer dn..sorry customer had me confused
