I'msubmitting text to a mysql datab

I'msubmitting text to a mysql database froma text field on a form

I've stripped out the un-html friendly slashes etc

how can I interpret my line breaks in the php/mysql- at present it comes out as one continous paragraph?

PHP has a nice little function called nl2br() which will take any text string and convert the line breaks to to HTML <br> line breaks.

Or you can just put a <pre> tag before and a </pre> tag after the data when you output it to a web page.
