Will IMS work with a web hosted Exchange server? I have a customer with and IPOffice 500 v2 running 6.0.18, and a 2008 Server running VMPro 6.0.22 and also oneXPortal on it. They had an old Exchange2000 server that they got rid of and went with Microsoft hosting their Exchange. I believe that is running Exchange2010.

From what I read in the docs, it says I need to install the UMS service to the Exchange server. I can't do that. Secondly, if it will work, where can I find the IMS client software to install on the users PC's? Does this service require a license?

You talk about IMS and UMS which are both different products.
IMS is not supported on version 6.
And when the docs say that you need to install it on the server then you need to do that :)

UMS is webbased so there is no client installation needed.

BUT you have one-x portal which basicly does the same as UMS.
On the left bottom of the 1XP screen you have a voicemail tab.
This part does even more then UMS.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
