Hello all:
I recently had a mailbox server go down due to space issues and i had to expand the array in order to make more space available. The server was down for a total of 2 days... maybe a bit less (70gig IS)
all the queues have been cleared from my other servers excpet for one of my external mail server. Both the IMS queue and the MTA queue have a lot of messages in them and I can't get them to flush.
MTA has 814 in its send queue
IMS has 964 in Conversion for inbound.
Any ideas how to flush those queues out or resolve this problem?
Thank you in advance for any help.
One more question I have 4 mailbox servers smallest IS being 40 gigs and largest being 82 gigs. ( I have been fighting to limit user mailboxes for years and management won't allow it and it's starting to bite us in the arse); Can anyone tell me what an acceptable IS size is or what I should keep it under? I have been fighting since they were under 25 gigs, now it's out of control.
