imr to IWR ( cognos 7)

Hi Friends,
I Just developed .imr reports, some of them are having sub-reports and drill through also
if i want to these reports on web ....IWR only way or is there any other way ... and also did work much with IWR ...could you pl help meo ..to change a .imr report to iwr report ( if posible steps pl)I am using cognos 7

If you want .imr report, the only way is IWR.

In Congnos 7, to publish the report to web, you need Report Administrator tool. If you log on to this tool.
* Choose the menu option 'Tool' and select the option publish report set.
* A window will pop-up where in which you need to give the Report set name, and the location of the report where the report should store in a web server where the server can access. and the location where your current report exists. Then you need to key-in the location for the upfront news box where link should be shown to execute the report from web.
* then click ok button to publish the report set. in a couple of minutes you can see the report set status to see the status of your published report. once it is successful.
* if you have any security settings like giving only to a particular user class. choose the user class for the report.

once you are done with this. you are ready to access the report from web.
