I have a production IWR 7.1 server that stopped running IWR reports yesturday. This happened once before and the tech support person, whom I am still waiting on to return my call, said that if impserver.exe is not running in task manager then the IWR reports won't run. Welp, it isn't running and they won't run.
I've followed every piece of advice that I can think of. I've erased the job db and recreated it; restarted the server to no avail. I've stopped and started the services and did the previous to no avail, I've tried 20 combinations of things for hours, and I still can't get impserver.exe back up and running in task manager. I also can't find a service that uses that exe either which is really making me wonder.
There were no material changes that occured except that we tried to post a very complicated report to the IWR that called three stored procedures through subreports. From what I can tell, that report caused the IWR system to fail, which is rediculous, but it happened.
Any ideas?
Keith
