Impromptu upgrade from 6 to 7

What will be the major steps to follow to upgrade the reports created in 6 to impromptu 7. What will be the major difference??

Simply open the version 6 reports up in version 7 and you will be prompted to save it as a version 7 report.The catalogue is upgraded the same way.

If you have a large number of reports that you need to upgrade there is a quick solution to this. You'll want to manually upgrade your catalog(s). You can download the Impromptu Report Upgrade utility from Cognos's website which does a mass update of your reports.
