We are in the middle of upgrading to Cognos Series 7 version 2. We are getting an error when opening an Impromptu report -- WIN 2003 OS, SQL server database.
ONe catalog, 6 reports, all but one are OK....the one we have a problem with is getting a Segmentation Violation error.
We have tried: renaming the impromptu.ini file, re-installed the application, rebooted the server. Recreated the Windows profile. All of these things seemed to work the first time we opened the report after performing each task. But the subsequent attempts to open the report generated the message again.
Any one have any ideas? Please help !
