Has anyone got much experience of schedulng impomptu reports?

How do you get around the need to answer prompts - can these be preset in a file for the day, if your report is then to run every hour with the same prompts for the rest of the day?

Via scheduler, can you have the report save a PDF to a network drive or publish an HTML and if so do you need to use a macro?

The answer to your first question depends on the prompts concerned. You should be able to use a calculation to set a value using 'if dayofweek(Now())= ' etc. where 2 is Monday. If this doesn't make sense let us know as example of the prompts and I'm sure we can help. You could also do it using macros.

As for the second, you will need to use a macro. This isn't that difficult and there's a reasonable example in the 'Impromptu Macro Reference Guide', but again if you have problems come back.
