We have created some Impromptu reports based on direct SQL rather than through catalogues.
These reports worked fine with Impromptu version 7.0
We converted to version 7.1 last week and now some of the reports give 'DMS-E-SS_SYNTAX error number 239' error and will not run (I have not reviewed all reports).
I answer'yes' to question 'upgrade to the new version' when I open these reports in Impromptu and then get the above error message.
The Cognos helpdesk person told me Cognos does not support or report any problems involving direct sql created impromptu reports.
Question - has anyone else had this problem?
If yes - was the problem caused by the Impromptu release or was it something I did ?
