Impromptu report should have only one record under group

Hi friends,
I am having the following problem while creating a .imr
Presently i am getting the report like the below

ename empno job sal deptno
xx1 100 clerk 2000 10
xx3 101 ceo 5000 40
xx4 100 clerk 1500 10

but my report should look like
ename empno job sal deptno
xx1 100 clerk 2000 10
xx3 101 ceo 5000 40

that means i should not get second record in same job catageory again.. i don't want to see two records
in clerk catageory if i group by the job.

On the filter tab, select "eliminate duplicate rows" and this will resolve your problem

Unfortunately you can't remove the duplicate row because it really isn't a duplicate (the different ename value). If you remove that field you can create a summary report that will total the "duplicate" rows.
