Impromptu report is scrolling by itself!

When I move the cursor outside the report area, ie in the scroll bar at the bottom to the left hand side (grey area) or in the buttons area above the report, the report moves around as if I had used the scroll bars.

I do not want to rebuild the report from scratch, does anyone know how I can get out of this?

did you try hitting escape and re-running your report?

Yes, it still happens, although at present the project manager doesn't seem to mind.

I've had it before in the past. I suspect I've somehow caused it by playing around with the margins, grid lines etc. Maybe?

Ok, maybe try the functions in the report properties that correct the shaping called "Snap to Grid", or "Snap to Parent", or VIEW, BOUNDRY LINES to see what is going on and fix it. You can do this by experimenting with a copy of the report on your hard drive so you don't mess up the prod one.
