Hi

got a catalog, i added a couple of columns to the database table. the new columns are updated when i clicked verify under Tables option. but those columns are not highlighted when i see under the Folders. where to refresh now?

regards,
sudhi

In your catalog go to folders and select the generate button, choose Database table and navigate to your new columns to add them in.

by doing this i lost all my folder setting, it came to the starting point !

If you select only the new fields when generating the folder, it will create a new folder name with only these fields ,then you can cut and paste them in the old folder name. And you will not lose your folder settings.

Did you select the whole table or just the new columns ?

either way you shuld not lose your original folder settings
