Impromptu 7.3 problems ?

Good day,

I have installed Impromtu 7.3 in order to start testing before we upgarde. The application however crashes when I am trying to 'Save As' Excell with format. Has anyone come across this or could anyone help me with this ?

I had similar crashes with upgrading reports or catalogues; I'm still using 7.1, although have 7.3MR1 when really stumped for something to do. Have you tried the (deep joy of) uninstalling, re-booting and re-installing?

P.S. I couldn't get PowerPlay client to save as excel until it was pointed out that Excel was not installed on the PC. Have you got Excel on your testing machine?

P.P.S. The problems with "fit to page" printing in 7.3 was , AFAIK, only fixed with 7.3MR1.

Yip, got that Excell app. Just wanted to know if others also have issues otherwise the problem could have been the operater but, by the sound of it there may be some issues. Thanks for the reply...
