I have a Win98 machine which works fine, but everytime I start up I get a message box which says "Could not call Javahook API" the only option is to click OK. That's all there is no weird programs running, nothing in startup that shouldn't be, just a complete mystery.

What anti-virus program are you using? The javahook API problem usually stems from a bad virus update or install of the anti-virus. Ususall MCaffee (spelling). Try uninstalling your antivirus then reinstall it. Update it after that. James Collins
