Impossible to reinstall XP

My installation was corrupted (blue screen at startup) so I decided to reinstall Xp on my OMNIBOOK 6000, but when I start with the installation cd I obtain this error:

Unexpected error (134216665) line 1768 d:\nt\base\boot\setup\arcdisp.c


also with Windows 2000 and Windows 95 the installation process fails.

Could someone help me?

From the message you're getting, I wonder if you are doing a clean install or a repair? Try a clean install, if this applies, by choosing to delete the partition after you boot from the XP CD. Good luck!

My 1st question would be are u trying a clean install or an upgrade.. or repair... then i better answer to your question can be given... Beta tester for XP from day 1 over 27 different versions.. Frank Smith
