I have an impossible question that's come up a few times:

why do our phones freeze up, get unplugged or moved to another network port, and work? and then when they plug in a different phone to that bad port, the new or newer phone works. how can this happen? seems to happen infrequently but enough times to warrant a post...

I can sit here and guess that it's the firmware on the set or a network blip but I'd rather hear from others. Any insight you can provide would be appreciated.

cm + set firmware version? are they registered to clans or procr?

CM 6.3, registered to procr. but a lot of the sets are 4622's and 9630's. some are 9611's but most are of the other 2 types.

get'em as current as you can...
what firmware are they running? if they're not the latest - which for the 4622 must be like 10 years old - if there is any firmware more current than what you're running, start there.

do you have more current sets on the system that never have the problem? That'd be your answer :)
