Hi,
I currently produce a 800 page catalog, most of which is in Corel Ventura 10. About 20% of the 800 pages are created in InDesign CS. All information is added manually. There is some talk about having the catalog database driven, therefore i would be adding all information via XML.
Can anyone point me in a direction to find information on how exactly XML works?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thank you!

If you go to ID Help/Search and type XMl Data you'll get Setting up a document for importing XML content.

You'll also want to search "data merge".

The problem with this is that the ID help has all these links on various paragraphs - taking you away from the page you're on. So I usually pdf a helpful page and save it.
