Hello

Newcomer to InDesign, I am looking for a quite specific function. I would like to import and link some tables and charts.

As for tables, the 'Place' command allows to do the linked import but it is not very handy. I had rather use copy/paste but even after having enabled the paste(linking) function in the Preferences, it does not work.
Do you have any idea why this option fails to be activated?

I would like also import(link) XL charts, but it seems the software simply does not 'see' these items. Do you know if it is possible in one way or another?

Thanks
