Hello,
My question is what's the best file format to import a word doc into quark (trying to keep the format from the word doc)? I have files that are given to me in word that need to be color seperated for printing. Also sometimes when I use the "get text" option in quark nothing shows up in the text box was wondering why??

Any advice would be great thanks

Also one thing to remember when ripping files that originated from Word Documents that they rip RGB to CMYK.

One big problem is that black type rip as CMY grey, with no
black.

ALot of colors will look very dull and not as bright because of this RGB to CMYK conversion.
