Hi folks, we usse a string table int he RES file to hold various titles, headers, button text etc. This was originally added as a way of Internationalisation of the software. We have an excel spreadsheet with the RES data and now we have a translation in another language. How do I get the translation from the spreadsheet to the RES file? Is there an import method or any automated way as there are over 3 thousand "cells" of translation.

Thanks for your time.

I did a similar thing, but could not find any software to do it for me, so I created a VB Macro in Excel which did the following.

STARTED AT CELL 1
Copied The Text to Clipboard
Activated the Resource Editor Page
SENDKEYS the key combination to move to the next cell
SENDKEYS CTRL+V to Paste
Activate the Excel Spreadsheet
MOVED TO NEXT CELL

and repeat as required.

This takes a bit of time, but it is all automated.

Hope it helps.
