I'm having terrible trouble importing transparent images from Photoshop 5 to quark 4 on the PC. If I export the image as a EPS the image comes out grey, a tif it loses resolution, a bit map is fine but doesn't seem to support transparent backgrounds. Thanks in advance [sig][/sig]

Did you try printing the TIFF and the EPS? They both will work fine on a PostScript printer. Quark's previews don't look good on the screen unless you use the free XTension Enhance Preview XT, which you can download free from quark.com
