Hi,

I am trying to import a table to a linked table via a macro using version 2000

The result of the Macro is that a new table is created in the front end application with an additional "1" at the end, ie, it looks like it is not seeing the linked table as linked ;o(

Pls c macro below, the result is a new table called ImportTablePDI1

Import
Microsoft Access
J:\Call Center\Front\PreCall\importhtml.mdb
Table
testfile
ImportTablePDI
No

I take it you mean you want to APPEND data from your table into the linked table rather than import your table and name it ImportTablePDI?

Yes, maybe not very clear

I want the data only to be imported to the existing linked table

Cheers,

Link the table ImportTablePDI from which you need to append the records to the other linked table and create an action (APPEND) query that appends the records you need!Your macro should run the action query.
