importing tab-delimited text into view -- seems to come in fixed width

My tab delimited file is getting loaded as if it was fixed width.

I'm trying to export data from MS Project and load those tasks into a Notes database.

I'm not seeing a fixed width export option in Project, so at this point I'm stuck.

Can someone help me figure out how to do this? Notes seems to want to import based on the columns' width (columns in the view I'm using).

I'm stumped.
